EVA is ethylene-vinyl acetate, a copolymer of ethylene and small amounts of vinyl acetate (up to 6%). EVA is attributed to high-pressure polyethylene (or polythene) group materials. Its elasticity is proportionally increased if it contains a higher percentage of vinyl acetate. This material is highly water and gas-resistant.
